Los Angeles Laminated Backstage Pass, Blue
100% authentic Van Halen backstage pass from the Alex Van Halen Collection.
Special event pass from the "A Different Kind of Truth" tour, for band's June 9th, 2012 concert at Los Angele's Staple Center! The L.A. shows were always a huge deal to them, so they had this special pass made for the occasion.
It's hard to convey just how exclusive this backstage pass is. Until we obtained them from Alex, we had never even seen one before! Indeed, this is one of the rarest Van Halen collectibles in existence. Talk about a conversation piece!
Van Halen's laminated passes were usually only given to crew members, management, record company people, and close friends of the band. They're much rarer than the cloth adhesive passes issued.
Furthermore, Van Halen's inner circle became smaller over time, with fewer and fewer people ever given a pass. Therefore, these have been almost impossible to obtain, even 10 or 20 years after the tour.
As with any collectible, the value is determined by supply and demand. And there has been absolutely ZERO supply of this pass until now! The band produced only a small quantity of them, and they'll never make more, ensuring their value.
Can be displayed individually, hung on their lanyard, or matted and framed with other items from the band, like concert tickets, guitar picks, and photos.
About laminated passes:
This credential indicates that the wearer had access to various areas during an event. It's a heavy-duty pass, laminated in plastic so that it would last for the entire tour. It cannot be separated or modified and is even water-proof. It has a specially punched hole at the top so that a lanyard can be passed through, and the pass is displayed at all times. Size is 3" x 4.75".
Unused. Mint condition. Very limited supply. Only available here. When they're gone, they're gone!
Imagine holding a piece of rock' n' roll history in your hands, a genuine Van Halen laminate, straight from Alex Van Halen!
