guitar10
EVH Striped Series Shapes Electric Guitar

Brand new from EVH! The Striped Series Shapes electric guitar brings one of Eddie Van Halen's most unusual and rarely seen designs back into the spotlight. Inspired by the guitar Eddie played during Van Halen's legendary 1981 Fair Warning tour, this striking black-and-white beauty combines a fascinating piece of rock history with the high-performance features of a genuine EVH electric guitar.

Eddie introduced his original "Shapes" guitar on the 1981 Fair Warning tour, alongside his equally distinctive "Circles" guitar. Both instruments reflected his constant experimentation with guitar construction, tone, and the emerging Floyd Rose locking tremolo system. Both were among the guitars Eddie used for drop-D tuning during the Fair Warning era, when "Unchained" became a concert highlight. Decades later, Eddie brought his original Shapes guitar back onstage during Van Halen's final tour in 2015, giving this unusual instrument a special place in his remarkable career.

This authentic EVH Striped Series model captures the original's bold geometric artwork with a gorgeous black-and-white satin finish. Unlike most Striped Series guitars, which feature basswood bodies, the Shapes has a solid mahogany body for a rich, resonant tone with powerful mids and excellent sustain. Whether you're a guitarist, collector, or lifelong Van Halen fan, it's a remarkable work of art to own. Display it using a sturdy guitar stand or reliable wall mount, and make it the centerpiece of your music room, home studio, living room, office, or man cave.

And this beauty was built to be played! It's a genuine, full-size EVH electric guitar, not a miniature replica or display-only collectible. With its powerful EVH Wolfgang humbucking pickup, fast-playing maple neck, and Floyd Rose locking tremolo with EVH D-Tuna, the Shapes delivers everything from thick, aggressive rhythms to soaring solos and screaming dive bombs.
