New York City Laminated Backstage Pass, Yellow
100% authentic Van Halen backstage pass from the Alex Van Halen Collection.
Special event pass from the "A Different Kind of Truth" tour, for the band's March 1, 2012 concert at New York City's Madison Square Garden! The Garden was always a huge deal to them, so they had this special pass made for the occasion.
It's hard to convey just how exclusive this backstage pass is. Until we obtained them from Alex, we had never even seen one before! Indeed, this is one of the rarest Van Halen collectibles in existence. Talk about a conversation piece!
Much rarer than cloth passes, this credential indicates that the wearer had access to various areas during a tour. It's heavy-duty, laminated in plastic so that it would last for the entire tour. It cannot be separated or modified, and is even water-proof.
Van Halen's laminated passes were usually only given to crew members, management, and close friends of the band. Furthermore, their inner circle became smaller over time, with fewer and fewer people ever given a pass.
As with any collectible, the value is determined by supply and demand. The band produced only a small quantity, and there's been absolutely ZERO supply of this pass on the collector's market. The few that we have to offer will should their value.
Can be displayed individually, hung on their lanyard (included), or matted and framed with other prized items from the band, such as concert tickets, guitar picks, and photos.
Size is 3" x 4.75". Unused. Mint condition. Very limited supply, and only available here. When they're gone, they're gone!
Imagine holding a piece of rock' n' roll history in your hands, a genuine Van Halen laminate, straight from Alex Van Halen!
