The '78 Guitar shirt features Edward Van Halen's original Strat-style guitar with the original black-and-white striped paint job. This was his main instrument for the first several albums and tours, but only had this color scheme in 1978.
The front features the '78 logo on the left chest.
The back features Eddie's iconic striped B&W Frankenstrat guitar. Life-size!
The sleeves each have stars with Eddie's stripes.

How we measured:
With the shirt laid flat, we measured from armpit to armpit (across). For "down back" we started at the very top of the neck (in the center), straight down to the bottom edge of the shirt.
