With distressed graphics on both the front and back, the front features a vintage-style Van Halen logo design, while the back chronicles actual Van Halen gigs from January through December 1977 — the pivotal year when the band went from Southern California's best-kept secret to landing a record deal with Warner Bros., setting the stage for their explosive arrival in 1978.

With the shirt laid flat, we measured from armpit to armpit (across). For "down back" we started at the very top of the neck (in the center), straight down to the bottom edge of the shirt.
